Patrick, your crazy is showing.

(This post has been edited to add the graphic above and to credit Kelley at Magneto Bold Too . Also I wish to note my bad math skillz that led me to believe I was one day closer. On one hand I have one more day than I thought, but on the other, well it's one more day to get through before it's all over.)

I'd love to tell you about all the toys I bought for the kids this year. Or about how I strung enough lights to keep the electric company in business for years to come. Or about all the lovingly baked cookies and beautiful decorations. But none of that happened.

Instead I bring you My Christmas Crazy. Feel free to hum along to the tune of the Twelve Days of Christmas, cause that's what inspired this list... sort of.

On the first day of Christmas, I received one Christmas card, and threw it in the recycling bin.

On the second day of Christmas, I sang two holiday songs, but I didn't know all the words, so I made them up, and the kids rolled their eyes at me.

On the third day of Christmas, I dragged three unwilling kids to buy a dinky, cheap-assed tree. ($10... Score!)

On the fourth day of Christmas, I made four miserable kids stand in front of the tree for a family photo. And some of them even smiled. I think.

On the fifth day of Christmas, I drank five mixed drinks.

On the sixth day of Christmas, I slept for six short hours and still made it to work with only a teeny, tiny hangover.

On the seventh day of Christmas, I made seven ornaments... almost, cause they still aren't quite done.

Now there's only four more days until the big day, and there's lots more to do, but at least we have the tree up, and I plan to make some presents, and maybe bake some cookies, and not. Go. Insane.

And if you haven't already seen these, I've posted some crazy ornaments that are hanging on our tree. And I might just own a horrid holiday sweater, that I have actually worn in public!

Your version of that song is so much more real than all that dancing, goosing, ringing silliness they sing about on the radio! LOL!

And I, too, might have a tacky Christmas Sweater. That I wore to Hubby's family luncheon. Last Sunday. Maybe. ;o)

Love your Christmas Crazy!

Boo spent 10 minutes screaming at Too to wear a Christmas tshirt today. Instead she wore one that said 'I will be nicer if you could be smarter'

That is about as Christmassy clothes wize we get.

I want it to be the fifth day of Chrismas EVERY DAY!

Love the Christmas photo. Somehow I'm guessing that's not the one you sent out, but you should have. :)

The Christmas photo is CLASSIC!

And, I too may or may have not worn a bad sweater in my lifetime. May. May have not.

Hilarious!
Its too hot here for warm clothes at Christmas, but my hubby has a rather dashing collection of Christmas T-shirts which are nearly as ... errr.. "interesting" as your jumper.

That is by far the best version of this song I've ever heard. Merry Christmas!

Great sweater :) Your kids look so happy.
I have so much more to do too. I haven't even started making my Christmas candies, ahhhhh.
Thanks for stopping by my blog :) My puppy wasn't so much stressed as she was pissed that I put reindeer ears on her head and took pictures of it :)
